Makita lawn mower includes:

Operating instructions:

These are more useful than those on page 11 of the Instruction Manual:

1. Check both batteries are adequately charged.

2. Insert safety key next to the batteries in the housing near the front of the mower.

2. Press the green "ON" button on the module on the left side of the main handle bar.

2. Press the larger red button in the module on the right side of the main handle bar and keep it pressed in.

3. While holding the red button in, squeeze the red "safety" bar into contact with the main handle bar.

The motor should then start (taking a couple of seconds to reach full speed); the red button will then stay in without the needing the user to keep it in. The motor will run until the red safety bar is released (the red button will then come back out), or until the batteries are discharged.
