Set up the clamp by adjusting the sliding jaw to fit the workpiece, positioning it between the jaws. Tighten the screw to apply pressure. Finally, apply wood glue to the joint and tighten the screw more to ensure a strong bond, and allow the workpiece to set.
Ensure the workpiece is centred and the clamp not over tightened.
